1. MEMBERS WILL RESPECT ONE ANOTHER.
Aggressive messages, personal insults, offensive critics, hostility, and remarks about someone's heritage/culture are prohibited. If you're unsure if it will offend anyone, just don't say it.
2. MEMBERS WILL KEEP CONVERSATIONS APPROPRIATE.
Messages that promote the following subjects: pornography, rape, hacking, drug use and phishing scams are prohibited. These practices will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate and irreversible IP ban from this academy.
3. MEMBERS WILL NOT ADVERTISE OTHER ACADEMIES/FORUMS.
Advertising another academy/forum without express permission from the Chaotic Elegance Academy Admins will result in a 24 hour ban from the Academy.
4. MEMBERS WILL NOT SPAM THE CHAT OR FORUM.
This includes, but is not limited to: Posting multiple single word messages such as "lol" or an emoticon, repeatedly posting the same message, and bumping a thread more than once every 24 hours.
5. MEMBERS WILL NOT NECRO-POST.
This means posting in a topic that has not had a reply in 7 days or longer or is no longer accurate.
6. MEMBERS WILL NOT TROLL ON THE CHAT/FORUM.
Any member caught trolling another member will be met with severe punishment.
7. MEMBERS WILL RESPECT ALL STAFF MEMBERS AND THEIR DECISIONS.
Please do not question their decisions as it could result in further worsening any situation you may or not find yourself in. If you have any complaints about a staff member try to discuss it with them, or another member of staff, on a personal level through private messages; leave drama out of the chat and forum.
8. MEMBERS WILL NOT OVERSTEP THEIR AUTHORITY BOUNDARIES.
There are moderators and Administrators in these forums for a reason, this means it is not your job to "mini-moderate" let them do their jobs instead of trying to do it for them.
9. MEMBERS WILL NOT BEG FOR PROMOTION OF STAFF RANK.
Members caught begging Admins/Staff for promotions will one (1) warning upon their first offence. Second attempt will result in said member being demoted and barred from promotion for a period of no less than 1 (one) month.
10. MEMBERS WILL MAKE A EFFORT WITH THEIR SPELLING AND GRAMMAR.
Some people may not understand the words that you type when you say things like 'wer u sk8tin @', on top of the fact that it's extremely annoying.
11. MEMBERS WILL NOT POST VIDEOS/IMAGES IN THE CHAT WITHOUT REQUEST OR PERMISSION.
If given permission or requested to place video/image in the chat, users must use direct links hidden by a Spoiler tag. [ spoiler] [/ spoiler]
Multiple offences will lead to more severe punishments.
